Where do I start?
To start your process, we can schedule a preliminary meeting to present our portfolio in more detail. Following this, we can do a walkthrough in the house and go space by space and prepare a scope of work for each space.
Can you come to my home/office to educate me in the technology & solutions available?
Yes, at Smart Florida Homes, we walk you through the process from the moment you decide to build your smart spaces. At the time you make the decision, we will sit with you and talk about the scope of work and present you with a proposal and work within your budget.
What guarantees do I have with you?
At Smart Florida Homes, we want you to always feel our commitment, that’s why we offer a 1-year warranty on equipment, light fixtures and shades. The installation and software have a 90 days guarantee. We include the first service visit following the installation. After this, we offer service contracts which include support visits, training and routine maintenance of the systems installed.
What brands do you offer?
At Smart Florida Homes, we work with brands such as Lutron, Savant, Marantz, Sonos, Crestron, Artison (among others), which have flexible product portfolios and fit your unique needs and taste.
When is the ideal time to contact you?
We recommend our clients to contact us during the construction and renovation phase of the space to intervene. However, some systems such as lighting control, curtains and air conditioning can be implemented even when the space is already in use and the discomfort of these processes will be very minimal.
Can I purchase the systems in phases?
Of Course! Luckily intelligent systems can be acquired by phases and can be controlled as a whole or independently.
What happens if I lose internet connectivity? Can I control my system locally?
Yes. While you are inside the house you can manage everything normally through the controls and wall controls, which allows you to use all the systems normally. However, if you are away from home and there is no internet connection available it will not be possible to control the systems it remotely.
